NEWS and NOTES 

FRIENDZ (aka Ann & Myra) are now taking preowned "show clothes" for consignment. Unless the consignee has a specific price for an item, all pricing to SELL will be determined by FRIENDZ.

Terms are 50/50, payment to consignee within 15 days of item(s) selling, all consignments will be for the duration of the Texas show season (Ntasha being the last) at that time consignees will need to make arrangements for pickup or donating to the International Youth of TWHBEA with us  sending the items to TWHBEA for delivery to Suyin Oldenberg Director of the Netherlands.

Items such as belts, boots, English or Western hats, ties, shirts, chaps and jewelry can be offered.

So bring your unwanted or out grown or in some cases lost weight items, in fresh clean condition and on hangers,  which could be money to you!.

SWHBA sends our condolences to Stan Urad along with the Seaton family in Tennessee.  Stan’s cousin, Eddie, was killed in a car accident the week after Big D.   Eddie was a long time employee at Bedford Tack who always had a smile for everyone.  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

News from Stan’s Stables

 The bunch at Stan's Stables had a great time and a good show at Big D.  Stan is back at work getting ready for Marshall and The International.  Stan has some new horses coming in and some possible new show prospects. Looking forward to seeing them.

The baby shower for Brandon and Candace was very nice. They got some really cute girly things.  Thank you all for coming.  The baby is due the middle of June. Keep them in your thoughts.

News from the Weavers

Luckily we had great weather for Big D and it was, once again, a great show with friends.  Miss Esther Williams did us proud with two Trail Pleasure blue ribbons.  We didn’t quite know what to do with ourselves with only one horse though!  Congratulations to Jody Balfay on some good rides with Cash For Diamonds.  We are very proud and excited for Tyler as he is graduating from Doyline High School. Tyler and I will be heading to Chicago to see my sister over the Memorial Day weekend and we are both looking forward to the trip. 

News from McDodi Farm

Congratulations to Rosalee Manning for her great rides on Limelight is Armed and Bad News Flashy Cash. She is doing a wonderful job of keeping these two horses in the ribbons. Congratulations also to Kim Lewis and Marco Suarez for winning rides on Commanding Lightning.  We are so pleased with this outstanding son of Stormy’s Lightning. On the home front we are the proud parents of three new colts.  All American Cash x WC That Lady’s in Command is a beautiful black filly. Allen’s Caper X Ritz N Coin is a flashy black and white stud. Skywatch x Cold Ice Centerfold is a gorgeous chestnut stud.  These exciting colts will be offered for sale when weaned. We are looking forward to the upcoming shows and getting a chance to visit with friends.
